How I got here

Why I write

I write to uncover the stories from real people.
People that are most affected by the science we do.

I talk to those people.
And listen to what they have to say.
And I write about the stories they tell me.

Writing shows me that science is not distant or only for a small group of people.
Instead, science is deeply personal and for everyone.

I write to make science the inclusive space it was always meant to be.

I write to invite everyone — behind the walls of research institutes ánd outside — to the dinner table.

Because I believe, that we can write the story of our future together.

(and, quite frankly, that is the only future that matters)
